Indigenous Youth in Victoria

We want to hear from you!

About the Opportunity

$250 Call for Indigenous Youth in Victoria Area

Indigenous Marketing Solutions, on behalf of the Victoria branch of Crisis Response & Community Line (CRCL), is hosting two virtual market research sessions with Indigenous youth ages 13-25 living on the territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən peoples, the Songhees and Xwsepsum Nations, and the WSÁNEĆ Nations.

If you participate, we will ask you about your perception of crisis lines and phone based supports, current barriers to accessing services, and what safe, culturally respectful support looks and feels like to you. We will also ask what it’s like to access in-person mental health support, and what barriers may prevent you from asking for in-person care. We will not ask you to share personal details of any past experiences with crisis support services.

Indigenous Marketing will compile research findings and themes in an anonymized What We Heard report, which will be provided to CRCL Victoria for marketing purposes. Your input will shape future artwork and marketing materials that will help improve access to crisis support services for Indigenous youth.
